Looking at an apple and looking through an apple are two different things. There are two different perspectives here. If you only see the apple, you will only see its material properties and not think about the One who created it. You talk about the useful vitamins in it. It does not occur to you who put those useful vitamins in the apple. You do not fully notice Allah, who created the apple and gifted it to us.
When you look through the apple, the apple becomes an object. Then you are curious about the subject, that is, the one who created the object. When you look through the apple, it becomes a work of art, and you seek the artist of that work.
